I downloaded the Lowrance app in order to sync my iphone with the HDS Live. When i create my account it says 14 days free trial and then 49€ per year. Do i have to pay or there is another option when i already have HDS Live ?

You guys are the supposed experts and yet other people on this platform have a video 10 times longer and more thorough than this mere 1.5 minute video on this very subject. That's what I hate most about Lowrance- whether on the phone, in a video or even in your manuals you rarely explain your products adequately. Just for starters, what about font options (if there are any), size, positioning and color options. Like most large corporations, you guys take for granted that most people who buy your products know these things already or can figure them out themselves- or should. You guys are miles behind your competitors for a reason.

If you got the hdi skimmer transducer and you click the structure icon and get a black screen with a vertical yellow line and all you want is downscan. Just click on view and select down on side menu. Was loosing my mind changing transducers. Was about to get total scan but only needed downscan for trolling motor.

At what depth does the side scan become ineffective ? I fished my first lake this past weekend and nothing was really showing . I was in about 50’-90’ depth. When I went back , the sidescan made a noticeably better image around 15’. Is it confirmed to only work in shallow depth or is my 3:1 transducer having issues? It’s brand new, used 5 times in last few months on my hobie 14’

I learned nothing, how to wire? how to configure? doesn't bluetooth work as it connects to my phone via bluetooth, vesselveiw moblie app work, so hard to find answers without crappy music and promos.

Does it matter what side of the transducer faces the trolling motor shaft or no?

Question pls, i have hds live 7, how come shaded relief is grayed out and i cannot turn on that function? It only works on my lowrance app on the phone? Do i need to buy shaded relief separately?

is it possible to have map North oriented but vessel stay centered in the screen, if i have north oriented the map doesnt move with the vessel and i have to keep manually dragging it to see where i am now
